How would an entire communities
involvement affect this problem?
A lot of the homeless use hospitals and shelters much more
than the general public. which takes away from the annual
revenue of the city.
It is estimated that housing the homeless in a hospital costs
10,400$ a month, and a shelter costs 1,932$.
This lead researchers to find that it would costs less to
provide them with below average regular housing.
This is also good because a survey found that the homeless
were 74% more likely to have altercations with the police.
Canada has no large scale plan for this country, but it was
found that it would be easier to house these people, instead
of just having them in shelters not controlled by the
government.
We could build their
homes.
A lot of the homeless are disenfranchised.

Many are children.

The involvement of one person can help in
variety of ways.

A Community coming together would actually
both be better economically & socially.
