OBJECTIVE:

In the present work it is intended to study:

1. To study the assembly/network of layered silicate in aqueous medium
2. Molecular dynamics simulation of PNCs
3. To study interaction between particles of polymer and clay in PCNs
4. To study the behaviour of PCNs
5. Swelling curve of sodium-montmorillonite clay showing thedependence of the
d-spacing on the water content of the clay.
6. Radial distribution functions (RDF) for Na+montmorillonite.RDF between ions
and clay oxygen atoms for: (a)dehydrated clays; (b) hydrated clays and (c)
between ions and wateroxygen atoms for hydrated clays.

In the present work an attempt has been made to study these parameters as well as
comparison of bubble column with foam bed for the case of CTAB as foaming agent. It is also
the objective of present work to fit models of two reactors to the experimental data and to find
the solid-liquid mass transfer coefficient.
