How can I install a Stock ROM?
With one of the following 3 ways:
1. Official method: Use LG Update tool (you have to be on a stock based ROM).
Or using the AIO-Toolkit:
2. Option 6 Off-Line method (if the on-line one doesnt work):
Download the ROM (kdz file) from here.
Then follow on screen instructions. (You also have to be on a stock based
ROM).
3. Option 7 Using SmartFlash You need the bin & fls files of a full ROM
Backup Internal SD-Card (option 1)
Backup contacts, sms, e.t.c
Download the full ROM (kdz file) from here.
Run Option 5 to extract bin & fls files
Run Option 7 and follow on-screen instructions.

How to root my Stock ROM?
Run option 3 and follow instructions.

I am on Stock ROM and I want to flash a custom one. (for the same bootloader)
Then you need a clockworkmod (cwm) or teamwin (twrp) recovery to enter into and install the
ROM.
If you are on GB ROM use Option 2 and flash a recovery.
If you are on ICS ROM and still on stock bootloader use option 8 (because you need
the unlocked bootloader also).

How can I quickl y change to a ROM which runs on different bootloader?
This will fully wipe the internal memory of your phone so:
Backup Internal SD-Card (option 1) and your contacts, sms, etc.
Option 4 to change partition layout to preferred Layout and BootLoader and let it fix
your internal SD-Card.
Transfer ROMs zip in any sdcard
Enter recovery and install new ROMs zip.


How can I resize my parti tions but keep my current data and/or rom?
Option 9 and create your custom layout. Then
Option 1 and backup Internal-SD.
Enter recovery and make a backup
Option 4 to flash your custom partition layout
Enter recovery and restore your backup (or advanced restore your data only)
Option 1 and restore your Internal-SD backup.
