Shipping Documents/Requirements for import of goods in Qatar

1. Signed and Stamped, Commercial Invoices showing H.S.Codes, Nett and Gross weights of the goods in KGs,
for full CIF Doha,Qatar, in one original plus 2 copies, certifying merchandise to be of Indian Origin.
Original must be attested by the chamber of commerce (If invoice contains more than one page, each and
every page must be attested) and legalized by Qatari Embassy in India.

2. Packing List in one original plus 4 copies issued, signed and stamped by the exporter. Original
must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce, Showing H.S. Codes.

3. Certificate of Origin in one original plus one copy, showing goods are that of Indian origin and stating the
full name and address of the manufacturer or producer and indicating H.S. codes also.
Original attested by the chamber of commerce and legalized by Qatari Embassy in India.

4. Health Certificate in one original plus one copy, issued by the local authorities, certifying therein that the
goods are fit for human consumption. Original, must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce and be
legalized by Qatari Embassy in India.

5. Halal Certificate in one original plus one copy, issued by a recognized Islamic Centre.
Original must be attested by chamber of commerce and be legalized by Qatari Embassy in India.

6 Complete set of clean Shipped on Board ocean Bill of lading , showing Freight Prepaid, addressed to the
importer and must detail the name, address and telephone number of the carrier vessel agent at the
port/place of destination and also shippers full name and address.

7. Shippers certificate in one original plus one copy, from the shipping company/owner/agent/
captain of the carrying vessel showing its name, flag and nationality, also confirming that it is permitted to
enter Arab Ports. ( Not required if the vessel is owned by an Arab shipping company)

8. Insurance Certificate should provide the name of their local agents in Doha-Qatar

9. Labelling- Production and expiry dates (Expiry dates at least 01 year)
Country of origin, Name of the Item, Weight and ingredients
Must be printed on each packet in English and Arabic.
