Q: Why we need to upgrade firmware for the router?
A: Sometimes we may need to upgrade the router to another
firmware version if the current firmware version can no longer
satisfy your reuirement! For e"ample# the new firmware will $e
a$le to fi" some $ugs and to achieve $etter service!
Warning:
1. %pgrade with &thernet ca$le!
2. Do not power off the router when upgrading
3. Do not upgrade remotely# please connect your P' and router
directly to perform the upgrade!
4. Please ma(e sure the firmware is correct!
5. We suggest you use )nternet &"plorer to upgrade!

1. *pen a we$ $rowser +)&# Firefo"# Safari# etc!, and find the
address $ar# leaving it $lan( $efore typing in 1(2.1)8.1.1# and
then press enter!

opening we$ $rowser,!
2. )nput default userna'e and password:ad'in in the following
window# then clic( o+!
3. *n the left side# please clic( on ,#ste' too% and then clic( on
update software! Please clic( on -rowse to add the new software
and then clic( on .pdate software to achieve that!
4. After re$ooting# please go $ac( to 1(2.1)8.1.1 and clic( on
Ad/an$ed ,ettings in the initial page# then go to 0anage'ent.
/Restore Defau%t on the left menu to restore the router to factory
default! After restoring# you should set up the router again!
