I would like to recommend Valeria Gilford for the Masters Program at Wayne State.
Val has been employed at Our Shepherd Child Care Center since May 5, 2013.

Val has been a caregiver at our school campus in our Older Toddler Room (2-3 year
olds), Preschool 1(3-4 year olds), Preschool 2(4-5 year olds) and our PK Room (5 year
olds). She has displayed a very nurturing and loving spirit to the children in her care.
Her duties include: supervising children, teaching them tasks as assigned by the Lead
Teacher, room upkeep and upholding the State Licensing Guidelines in the
classrooms. Val is very reliable and punctual in her attendance and tasks at the
Center.

Val is a very positive person and has a great sense of humor. She is a very honest
and moral individual. She has a great love for children, evident in the way she does
her job. She has a great rapport with the children, parents and staff and is very
professional in her interactions. She is always willing to lend her support if we need to
have her stay extra hoursvery flexible. Vals example of continuing her education
inspires me to continue my education as well.

Val would be an asset to any program at Wayne State. I would highly recommend
Valeria Gilford for the Masters Program.
