Activity Summary: The goal of this activity is to let the students become aware and learn the 8 planets of the solar system, and how
many moons each planet has.

Learning Objective: Given a bank of facts about the 8 planets of the Solar System, the student will place each fact with the
corresponding planet with 100% accuracy.

Grade Level Expectation: GLE 0507.6.1 - Compare planets based on their known characteristics.

State Performance Indicators: SPI 0507.6.1 Distinguish among the planets according to their known characteristics such as
appearance, location, composition, and apparent motion.
