The purpose of this project was to get an understanding
about how clean or polluted the outdoor air in selected cities
are over a course of five months, along with associated health
effects that may be of concern.

This graph represents the highs, lows, and the average of
particles PM 10 through January to May for La Grande, Oregon.
On the graph, you can see that February had the highest
particles PM 10 at 159; this indicates that air quality was
unhealthy which means everyone in the La Grande area may begin
to experience health effects; members of sensitive groups may
experience more serious health effects. According to La Grande
Weather Service, Inc.

the 13
th
, they received heavy snow fall which could contribute to
the high particle PM 10 on February 10
th
.
As the weather starts to warm, you can notice that the
particles PM 10 begin to decrease.
