Weekl y Updat e: Students were very busy during the final week of Math Masters! They learned and practiced origami, connecting the folds and shapes to geometry, angles, measurement, fractions, and other mathematical concepts. Students also learned about Eratosthenes, who figured out a strategy to find prime numbers. We practiced this strategy, and did some prime number challenges. Students also explored brainteasers and logic puzzles. It has been wonderful having these bright, sharp, hard-working students in class! Students can continue to explore the activities and online books on the website.
Today is the last day at Summer U. Enjoy the rest of your summers!
