Peer Teaching Reflection #1: Reading a Book with an Existing Chant

During the presentation of my chanting book some of the positive characteristics
that I could notice that I did correctly was that throughout the whole period that I chanted
the book I had a consistent and steady beat. This consistent beat is beneficial and
important to have because it will determine if the store is boring or supports their musical
growth.
On the other hand, some important characteristics that also determine if the story
is boring or gets the attention from the students and that I need to improve is the finding
of better pauses and breathing throughout the reading of the book. If I am able to control
my breathing pauses this will allow me to give the story a different tone and make it
interesting for my future students.
