EXPRESSING PURPOSE IN ENGLISH

When we want to express purpose in English we usually employ some connectors


or prepositions.The main ones are:
TO + INFINITIVE =PARA
IN ORDER TO + INFINITIVE =PARA
SO AS TO + INFINITIVE= PARA AS
IN ORDER THAT = PARA QUE
SO THAT = PARA QUE
EX: She went to the park to do some exercise.
They have bought this car in order to travel around Europe.
She tidied up her bedroom so as to please her mother.
Peter wrote to me in Spanish in order that could understand better.
