Weather
Hungary has a continental climate. This means that the weather is quite easily
predictable (megjsolhat) and there are big differences between the weather in the
four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Hungary is protected from the
etremes weather by the mountain ranges encompassing (be!er"t) her from almost all
sides.. Temperatures abo#e $% degree &elsius may occur in 'uly and (ugust but
generally do not last long. 'anuary and )ebruary are the coldest months, but e#en
then the a#erage temperature does not fall below minus * degree &elsius.
+ngland has a maritime climate, which means that the weather is #ery wet and
rainy there. ,t is usually #ery changeable and it is difficult to forecast with certainly
e#en for a day. ,t rarely snows and if it does, it melts when it reaches the ground.
-ummers are cool and damp too. .ossibly because it is so unpredictable, +nglish
people are always prepared to discuss the weather.
/y fa#ourite season is summer. ,n summer we don0t ha#e to go to school, and
the weather is #ery good and hot. 1e can go on holiday, and swimming. 1e can go
on ecursions.
(utumn is the rainiest season of the year. The days are getting colder and
colder, lea#es are falling down from the trees, so this is the most colorful season.
