fill in their particulars and to darken the appropriate circles to mark their answers in their OM R answer sheet. (ii)

To enable the candidate to go through the instructions and to fill up the required particulars in the OM R
Answer Sheet and Question Paper Booklet, the Question Paper Booklet shall be distributed 05 minutes before the start of the examination
while the carbonless OM R Answer Sheet shall be distributed 15 minutes before the start of the examination.

timings at the above centre, at least 30 minutes before the start of the test. Please ensure Location of your Centre/Venue
one day before Examination in your own interest. You should note that you will yourself have to meet the expenditure on
your travel to & fro the Test Centre to take the test. No TA will be paid to you by the CSIR.

/INS TRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

Candidate must take the examination only at the centre specified in the Admission Certificate.Failure to do so will deprive the candidate of
claim to any consideration, whatsoever.

candidate would be admitted to the examination hall after half-an-hour of the commencement of the test .

No candidate shall be permitted to leave the examination hall earlier than 2 Hours (150 minutes) after

commencement of the paper.

The Test Booklet for this test is printed in Hindi & English separately. The Candidate opted
for English medium will be supplied Question Booklet/Test Booklet printed in English version only.The Test Booklet in Engineering
Sciences shall be supplied in English version only as notified.

30 Visually handicapped
candidates will be provided the help of a Graduate level scribe in sciences to write/mark the Answer for them.
They will be given 30 minutes extra for this Single M.C.Q paper.

Candidate should not tear off any leaf from his/her Test
Booklet.

Candidate should use the log table given in the
Question Booklet. Envelop, Cellular phone ,Digital diary, Calculator and any other electronic communication
devices are not allowed in the examination halls. Engineering Sciences candidates are permitted to take
Scientific Calculators without data connectivity only.

Before leaving the examination hall, candidates must hand over the

original OMR Answer sheet to the Invigilator failing which candidature will be liable to be cancelled and Police report will be
lodged. Candidates are permitted to take the duplicate copy of the OMR Answer S heet in order to enable them to match with
the Answer keys which shall be uploaded on our website in due course of time.

The candidates leaving the exam hall at the end of the scheduled
time of the exam are permitted to take their question booklet with them with the advice to bring
discrepancy/ambiguity, if any, to our notice latest by 1st July, 2014 (e-mail:dsexam@csirhrdg.res.in) for its
rectification if required. After this date no such request shall be entertained. In case the candidates leave the
examination hall before the scheduled time, they shall not be permitted to carry the question booklet and shall
hand over their question booklet to the invigilator.

A candidate found guilty of using unfair means of any nature shall be liable to be disqualified from the
examination for which he/she is a candidate. Candidate should also note that any indiscipline on their part in the examination hall will
entail them to disqualification from all the CSIR and UGC examinations.

case your e-admission certificate does not bear your photograph, you are required to bring your two
identical photographs alongwith valid ID proof.
