The growth of GDP goes only up to a 4.

7%
The service sectors of India are facing
severe deceleration as there has been
only 4.7% of GDP growth in the year
201!14. The second year has seen "%
growth. #o$%ared to the %revio&s year'
there has been only a little growth in the
service sector. This is also shar%ly lower
than the (% growth in an average o&t of
the last ten years.
In the %ast two years' growth rates have been recorded by so$e of the
i$%ortant sectors of the econo$y s&ch as hotels' co$$&nication' )nancing
and constr&ction. *etween the years of 2004!0" and 200(!10' the service
sector grew at $ore than 10%. This ta+es &% $ore than two thirds of the
Indian econo$y.
The last two years have been dreadf&l for the service sectors beca&se the
growth has been so low. The constr&ction sector which ha%%ens to be the
so&rce of inco$e for several daily wage earners and is also val&able for the
ce$ent and steel ind&stries has increased &% to 1.,% co$%ared to 1.1% last
year.
There is however a few silver linings. The )nance' ins&rance' real estate and
b&siness have contrib&ted eno&gh than the overall growth of GDP in the
%revio&s year' altho&gh when it co$es to si-e' it $a+es &% only 20% of the
econo$y.
