2 pint s semi-skimmed
milk

Mix
2 t ablespoons Hor licks
2 t ablespoons cor nflour
3 t ablespoons icing sugar
4 t ablespoons qualit y
or ganic cocoa
1 00 g good-qualit y dar k
chocolat e (7 0% cocoa solids),
finely gr at ed
1 pinch gr ound cinnamon
1 pinch sea salt

Method
Pour t he milk int o a lar ge pan, and br ing almost t o t he boil ov er a medium heat .
Meanwhile, add all t he chocolat e mix ingr edient s t o a lar ge jar and giv e it a good
shake t o combine. You need ar ound 1 0 heaped t ablespoons of t he chocolat e mix for t his
amount of milk. Simply spoon t he chocolat e mix int o t he hot milk, giv e it a good
whisk and leav e t o bubble away for a few minut es befor e ser v ing. You'r e looking for
t hat gor geous, t hick, almost claggy , knockout t ext ur e.
