Topic 3.6 Building & Unlocking II
Unit Outcome Encourage the usage of mind map / word web as an easy way to
increase their vocabulary

Activity` The More The Better
Duration 30 minutes
Procedures 1. Mentor writes the word FOOD on the board
2. Mentor encourages mentee to produce as many words as possible
which are related to FOOD (e.g fruits, cakes, nutrition, breads) in
a web map/ mind mapping format
3. Mentees work in groups. Each group brainstorm words that are
related to the following topics using a mah jong paper.
Transportation
Animal
Cloth
My Body
4. Mentor instruct the group to put up their completed web map on
the wall.
5. As homework, mentees are encouraged to construct sentences
using any of the above words.
