MAGIC WET FIRE

Materials:
1. Cloth
2. Tongs (for holding)
3. Jar or any container
4. Rubbing Alcohol (70% ethyl Alcohol)
5. Dishpan with water
6. Pitcher of water (in case of emergency)

How to:
1. Put one cup of alcohol and one cup of water in a jar (you may use measuring cup for accuracy)
2. Dip the cloth in your Rubbing Alcohol Fuel
3. Hold the cloth while drips of burning alcohol are dripping which should be caught in a pan with
water
4. The burning stops after awhile

How does this happen:
There is too much water in the cloth to sustain the fire. When alcohol is mixed with water, the
fuel content downs to 50%or half, pure alcohol. As enough of the alcohol drips off, (making
alcohol below 50%) the excess water extinguishes the fire.
