The Define Youth conference
was held in a large area, so it
needed large dcor. Four 10
trusses fit the bill. They were
used as stage dcor and later
used to support the stage itself.

The camera crane was built for a
film team that needed to capture
action shots. The budget was
around $300, and the crane need-
ed to articulate the camera up,
down, left, and right. The crane
has since been modified, and fu-
ture versions may include elec-
tronic controls.
The four trusses stood vertical-
ly and were illuminated with lights
shined from their bases. The De-
fine Youth Conference was at-
tended by a few hundred teens.
