cadia Concepts and the Lou-
isiana director of operations,
confrmed the news Feb. 18,
adding that he hopes to see
Barcadia Baton Rouge open
in July 2014, but "contrac-
tors are always late." Te ul-
timate goal, he said, is to
be open by football season.
Barcadia New Orleans
opened in 2013, and Huf's
burgers quickly became a
lauded feature of the Cen-
tral Business District locale.

slinging burgers in Baton
Rouge. He got his start with
a food trailer he ran outside
of Bogie's as an LSU student.
"I went to school during
the day, and I served up
late night food to all the
drunk kids of LSU from 9
p.m. to 3 in the morning,"
Huf recalled in aprevi-
ous interview with NOLA.

burger will soon be back in
the capital city, thanks to
the closing of Serranos Sal-
sa Company in Northgate.
Serranos, which is clos-

ball game days, Ripp said.
Anything we can do to
bring more people and
more fun to the area, were
all about it, Ripp said.
According to a post-
ing on Serranos website,
Serranos co-owner Andy
Blouin will continue to fo-
cus on other brands under
the umbrella of Firebelly
Concepts, which includes
The Edible Event Ca-
tering and Special Events,
Boudreaux & Thibo-
deauxs, Blend Restaurant
and Wine Bar, Host Staff-
ing and a new catering fa-
cility on Third Street ex-
pected to open in the fall.
Ripp said his team has
been in contact with Firebel-
ly Concepts for some time,
and the Baton Rouge entity
isnt completely leaving the
Northgate Rouge for some
