Science Binder Set-Up

Instructions: You will need a 3-ring binder (1/2 1 inch) and 5 dividers for this
class. Place a piece of lined paper in front of the dividers and label it Table of
Contents. The dividers should be in the order and labeled as follows: Reference
Sheets, Notes, Worksheets, Labs, and Extra Lined Paper. Everything in the
binder should be in sequential order and all entries should be dated with your
name, date, and period. The binder will be graded periodically throughout the
school year.

1. Reference Sheets
a. This section could include only the colored papers, making them easy
to locate in a hurry.

ii. Student Laboratory Code of Conduct
iii. Measurement Pre-Test
iv. Graphing Requirements Template
v. How to Make a Bar Graph
vi. How to Make a Line Graph
vii. Microscopes
viii. How to Use a Microscope
ix. Paper Towel Absorption Lab
x. Outlining Template
xi. Science Current Event


2. Notes
a. This includes all tutorial notes and in-class notes.

3. Worksheets
a. This includes study guides, class activity sheets, and homework that
has been graded and returned by your teacher.

4. Labs
a. This section is for your lab sheets and lab reports that have been
corrected and returned by your teacher.

5. Extra Lined Paper
a. Several sheets of blank lined paper need to be in this section at all
times.
