Nitro Circus Live is a show for men with a completely different breed of circus animals. The
biggest action-sport touring show in the world has a cast of 50 lunatics including the king
of crazy and world recorder holder Travis Pastrana.

The tour landed with a bang in Manchester on November 26 and saw the Phones4U
Arena transformed into a circus ring like no other, with the smell of exhaust fumes
hypnotising the sold-out crowd in their seats.

The stage for these self proclaimed lunatics; a 50ft drop ramp, numerous re
extinguishers, a hanging bomb, the odd safety mat and a crew of paramedics.

The voice of the show is Jeremy Rawle, the host with the most body hair ever to grace a
Manchester stage. The circus showcases the most talented FMX, BMX, skate and
contraption riders from across the globe all under one roof. As a member of the audience
you really are in the presence of two-wheeled royalty.

The rst time you see Travis Pastrana back-ip his bike in the famous 199 Red Bull kit it
will blow your mind and when he told the Manchester crowd: 'Its gunna be a hell of a
night, we hope this will be the wildest two hours of your life,' they knew he wasnt lying.

For two hours the cast of Nitro Circus proved just what it means to be real man; you have
to have the balls to drop yourself off a 50ft ramp on two wheels no matter what theyre
attached to.

Contraption rider Aaaron Crum Sauvage showed the crowd that a wheelbarrow, shopping
trolley or a door-mat will do the job. And if youve ever wondered if a fully grown guy in a
pink Barbie car can y, it can! (despite losing a wheel on landing and face-planting a
concrete wall.)

Ever seen 29 two-wheel machines back ip in perfect harmony? Nitro Circus have got it
covered along with some of the best riding you will ever see, including a record attempt if
youre lucky. The Manchester fans witnessed history when FMX rider Cam Sinclair pulled
a double back ip to close the show, the rst ever on UK soil.

Want to prove youre nothing short of a real man? Then feel welcome to volunteer for the
show's audience participation jump: a three-manned backip. But remember the words of
Travis Pastrana: 'We want someone who wont sue. Someone who is not afraid to be
seriously injured.' At Nitro Circus safety comes... third.

Theres more to this circus than performing clowns and broken bones, the cast are a
family. When Aaron Wheelz Fotheringham came to the stage the tone of the evening
changed. Sitting on top of the 50ft ramp strapped into his wheel chair this rider takes
courage to another level. On last years tour he ended up unconscious.

Disabled from the waist down for most of his life, Wheelz (as hes know by the crew) told
the crowd: 'Sometimes life gives you a wheelchair; youve just gotta nd a big ramp.' With
one push he sent himself down the ramp into a double backip with reworks ying out of
the back of his chair. The reaction... youve never seen anything like it. Utter delight from
the rider and his crew whilst the crowd rose to their feet, by far the biggest applause of the
night.

If fully grown men could run away with the circus this would be the one to chase. This
show is so much more than just the coolest day job ever, these riders live and breath
everything two-wheeled. The cast of Nitro Circus are on a worldwide journey together.
Pastrana describes them as his 'Nitro family,' and being on tour with them as the 'best
times of my life!' For a guy whos won numerous medals on his bike thats a grounding
statement. Maybe these real men do have a soft side behind their helmets.

After the show BMX rider Daniel Wedemeijer said: 'Being on tour changed my view on
riding and life! I have always been looking up to Nitro Circus and Travis Pastrana. Being
one of them now is really amazing!'

So if you own a pair of riding pants, bobble hat, lumberjack shirt and have a rad nickname
youre half way towards being part of the coolest circus on earth. All you need to do now is
master the art of riding on two wheels and grow a huge pair of balls. Your real man status
awaits you at the bottom of the ramp!
