(the 3ameShar 2 is a&ailable at most stores that sell &ideo games,
a !ew e4amples would be 2est 2uy, *ircuit *ity, or Target$ 'ou
want &ersion 5$6 o! the 3ameShar 2$ % ha&e heard that all other
&ersions wor, but % ha&e only tested &ersion 5$6$ 3ameShar2
costs about 27$78$ 2elie&e me, its worth it!!!

2urning the PS2
The process o! burning ps2 games is easy$ %t is really only a / step process$"read
the game, patch the game, and burn the game$#
5# insert game into cd dri&e$
2# 9pen up *+,W%- and clic on the e4tract dis:tracs:sectors button$
/# 'our settings should be as !ollows;
1or e4tract mode select dis image: cue sheet
1or read options select raw
1or error reco&ery select abort
1or <itter correction select auto
1or subcode analysis select auto
+ata Speed and =udio Speed should be the same
1or read retry count type 6
1or subcode threshold type /66
>ae sure you selected the dri&e that your PS2 game is in
>ae sure you typed in the !ile name "<ust type the name o! the game# and
*hec the directory that you)re putting your !ile in$
Then <ust press start
%! you get an error in the middle o! reading the dis that
says something lie can)t read sections 4444(44444 o! dis, it is becase
the dis is scratched and *+,W%- can)t read it$ Try to clean the dis, i!
that doesn)t wor you <ust ha&e to use a di!!erent game "a di!!erent copy o!
the same game#
?# 9nce *+,W%- is done, clic o and then e4it *+,W%-$ 9pen up the
PS2 patcher, select the game !ile you <ust created and patch it "mae
sure you select the ,=W option$
?# *lose the PS2 patcher, ne4t open up 1ireburner$ *lic on the &isual
cue burner button$ When you created your $bin !ile "the game !ile# in
*+,W%-, a $cue !ile should ha&e automaticly been created$ %n that
case, drag and drop the $cue !ile into the 1ireburner window$ %! the
$cue !ile was not created, <ust drag and drop the $bin !ile into the
1ireburner window$ =!ter you ha&e done that, right clic "clic with
the right side button on your mouse# on your !ile in the 1ireburner
window, and select 2urn:Test burn$
8# %n the options window that appears, select your cdwriter, select your
write speed"doesn)t really matter#, and mae sure you select Trac at
once "T9=# !or the recording method$ =s !or the options on the right
side o! the options window, mae sure only the !ollowing are checed;
e<ect cd and close session$ When you ha&e selected the options,
clic o and your PS2 game will burn$ That)s all you ha&e to do to
burn a game$
2urning a Playstion "PSone# game
5# %! you want, you can spend 8 minutes using the same method as abo&e
to burn your playstation game, but its not necessary$ 1or a playstation
game "not PS2# all you need to do is use a program that lets you mae
an e4act copy or a bacup dis "*+,W%-# 'ou don)t need any
selected options, you <ust need to start the game on the PS2 the same
way you would a PS2 game$
Starting the game on you PS2
5# -ow !or the !un part "and challenging part the !irst couple o! times#
This may sound a little complicated at !irst, but a!ter you do it / or ?
times, it)s supper easy$ 1irst things !irst, you must remo&e the !ront o!
your game dri&e on your PS2"not a big deal, it can snap on and o!!#$
2# -ow insert your gameshar 2 cd"mae sure the gameshar memory
card is in one o! the 2 slots, doesn)t matter which one$#
/# %n the gameshar options, choose start game, then without$ 'our
screen should read Please insert game dis then press X to continue$
?# -ow this part can be tricey !or beginners, so % will pro&ide pictures
(the main purpose o! this starting method is to open up the PS2 and
swap the gameshar dis with your burned game without the PS2
nowing you did it$ +9 -9T press the e<ect button on the PS2!!!
(with the PS2 cd tray co&er remo&ed, you will be able to loo in
and see a while tab inside the PS2$ With a credit card "or
something lie it# gently slide the white tab all the way o&er to the
right, i! you did it correctly, this should allow you to manually pull
open the PS2 cd tray$
8# -e4t, tae the gameshar dis out o! the PS2 and put in your burned
game$
8# 3ently push the PS2 cd tray !ully bac into the PS2 "+on)t press the
e<ect button#$
@# -ow you need to slide that white tab all the way bac to the le!t "its
origional position#$ To do this you get a strong papper clip"needs to be
a strong one# stic it into the PS2 on the right side o! the white tab and
push the tab bac to the le!t$
A# %! you pushed the tab all the way bac to the le!t and did e&ery thing
else right, you are ready to play your game$ Bust press X on your PS2
controler and watch as your burned game loads$ " %t may load slower
than an original game, depending on the cd(r you are using, % use
Cerbatim cd(r)s and ha&e no problems$#
