160 person died, 93
injured from 350 person,
mostly students from
different schools.
The fire last for an
hour. Caused 15million
worth of damage.
President Fidel Ramos
ordered an
investigation
thereafter.

Owners and operators were charged of Reckless
imprudence resulting to multiple homicide and
multiple injuries and ordered to pay 25million
pesos for the families of he victims.
The suspects were allowed to bail, and they did not
even fully paid the 25 million pesos payment.
Some government officials were also liable.
Until now, the case is still unclosed.
