Observations:
1. I liked the way you dissected the word aquatic and connected to what they may already
know in Spanish
2. Good job redirecting Daniel and bringing him up to the front
3. During reading I appreciated the way you made it clear that your expectation was 100%
and had them rereadkeep it up!
a. You have a good command over the classroom during English stay strong

Recommendations:
1. Make sure you go over content specific vocabulary
a. Tide- although it may not be in the agenda, some words like tide and tide pool
may be better explained with a visual or a video
1. When someone needs help, like Sinthia, consider calling the class attention because it
is likely that someone else may also need help
a. During this time, some students also started to fool around, so calling the class
attention may have avoided that


June 2, 2014- Math

Observations:
1. Good job redirecting having Marcus turn around and waiting until you had 100%-- this
is perfect!!! I know it gets frustrated and youll want to just move on with the lesson, but
be patient and theyll get it!! They need the consistency! yahoo!

Observations:
1. Nice job engaging students with the video-- they really enjoyed it


Recommendations:
1. Students were having a great conversations about the organisms they saw- thats great!
it is important that the conversation doesnt get too out of hand
a. when they start to make too many comments without raising their hands, you
may consider stopping the conversation and being very explicit about your
expectations
