Composite Volcano:
The Baker volcano is a stratovolcano which falls under the classification of a Composite volcano; it is located on a
Transform boundary.




Shield Volcano:
The Haleakala Volcano in Hawaii is a Shield volcano located on a hot spot plate boundary.






Cinder Cone Volcano:
The Craters of the Moon volcano in Idaho is a Cinder Cone volcano located on a hot spot boundary. One of the
characteristics of a cinder cone is that it often occurs near a larger volcano, in this case that would be the Yellowstone
Volcano






Caldera Volcano:
The Yellowstone volcano, located within Yellowstone national park, a popular tourist attraction, is an example of a Caldera
volcano. This volcano is located on a hot spot boundary.
