away from walking areas so that
people dont trip over them.

No water available in the venue.

Technicians and performers are not
to drink around the equipment.

Electrical shortout

Everyone in the venue

Equipment is PAT tested. All leads
and cables checked for damage.

Everyone made aware of fire exits
and location of extinguishers.


Damage to hearing


Everyone in the venue

Sound technician to make sure that
the desk is turned down before
powering up. Volume levels
monitored. Only the sound
technician is to use the mixing desk.

Lifting heavy equipment

Sound crew of more than one

All heavy equipment to be lifted by
at least 2 people.
