Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a significant relationship between reading
and writing score. The variables used in this study are reading and writing scores of 200 students. Both
variables are measured on ratio scale. The sample included 200 randomly selected students. The result
of regression analysis indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between reading score
and writing score. The results can be used to predict reading score if writing score is known.
