To Whom It May Concern, I would like to take this opportunity to write a formal recommendation for Ms. Candice Abro. Ms. Abro joined our teaching staff at the University of Michigan North Campus Childrens Center (NC3) in January of 2013 as a supporting teacher. In this role, Ms. Abro had the opportunity to interact with each of the ten programs at our school. NC3 is a campus development center that serves infants (ages 3 months 18 months), toddlers (18 months 3 years) and preschoolers (3 years 5 years). Perhaps one of the most dynamic qualities that Ms. Abro possesses is her flexibility as she is adaptable to any situation. She consistently met the needs of very young children with ease--at times transitioning between multiple programs in one day. Children naturally gravitate toward Ms. Abro, and she was always observed donning a nurturing smile, interacting naturally with children in both large and small groups. Ms. Abro recently presented a particularly interesting large group activity regarding visual literacy with a preschool class. She and I spoke of the experience directly after, and her enthusiasm was palpable. She allowed the children to view several works of art and posed the simple question, What do you see? It was clear that the children were engaged and participated with passion. Ms. Abro also mentioned that even some of the dual language learners commented with confidencea notable experience for these children who may not otherwise participate. In addition to these skills and experiences, Ms. Abro is a team player who is incredibly reliable and truly delights in her work with children. She was constantly requested for additional support in every classroom at NC3, and we only wish we could have her stay with us. Ms. Abro has my highest recommendation and she would be a tremendous asset to your teaching staff.
