Be respectful. 2. Be responsible. 3. Be ready to learn. Typical Class Activities We will do many hands-on activities and work often in cooperative groups. Depending on the activity, students will work with a partner, in small groups, or individually. Homework Homework will be assigned 2-3 times per week. Students will write homework assignment information in their planners. Projects Projects will be assigned at least once each quarter. Students will be given advance notice for projects. Students will typically have some time in class to work on their project. Projects should showcase your BEST work. Interactive Notebook To learn life science, students will create an interactive notebook from their composition book. Students will record notes, answer questions, and create things in their interactive notebooks. EVERY DAY students will use their interactive notebooks. Notebooks will be checked periodically as part of the participation grade. Students must leave the textbook at home. Textbooks will be checked once each quarter. Students also have access to the textbook online using their Active Directory account.
