Our selection of ducational solar kits makes it easy for kids and adults who are

new to solar energy to learn about the basics (and more advanced techniques) of
solar power in a safe, fun and rewarding way.
Grid Tie Solar Systems & Off Grid Solar Systems these are the largest type of so
lar electronic kits. Each of these solar electronic kits are complete systems, w
hich include everything you need for a complete installation. Grid tie solar sys
tems are for residential and commercial solar power systems, and off grid solar
systems are typically for cabins, lodges, RVs and other remote / portable solar
applications.
This advanced level solar cell education kit is designed to teach series and par
allel circuit concepts integrated with solar technology
Our Soalr lab module makes it easy for Students who are new to solar energy to
learn about the basics and more advanced techniques of solar power in a safe an
d rewarding way.
The Solar Lab module is designed to develop understanding in both operation and
implementation of grid connected PV power plants. The solar lab would provide gr
ounding in both basics of design and engineering as well as hands-on installatio
n and working . The lab covers basics of PV, PCU, and system, basics of plant
electrical and monitoring as well as installation and test practices. The worksh
op includes hands-on sessions on installation and testing of PV array, inverter
s, power e and monitoring systems as well as plant performance testing
The Solar emulator consists of a programmable DC power supply with control softw
are and GUI interface and a unique PV simulation engine that provides the I-V cu
rve. This combination of hardware, software, and firmware allows the Solar Emula
tor to simulate test protocols or combinations of events that emulates a real-wo
rld solar installation. The included software allows modeling of a string of PV
panel without an extensive knowledge of solar array parameters. The only paramet
ers required for a simulation are the open circuit voltage (Voc), short circuit
current (Isc), and the peak power parameters Vmp and Imp. Changes to these para
meters allow the shape of the I-V curve. Once an I-V curve has been generated, c
hanges to the irradiation level or temperature can be modified on the fly to tes
t the behavior of a grid tied inverter under realistic conditions for cloud shad
owing and panel temperature rise.
