1. Construction.

Construction on the field of engineering is the

art or technique of making buildings and
infrastructure. In a broader sense, is anything
required before taking, or may have a project
and a default schedule, which is done by
joining various components according to a
particular order.

2. - Characteristics
Construction as an industry has characteristics
that can be a disadvantage when applying
quality controls.
These features are:
- The construction industry is a nomad, upon
completion of a work shift elsewhere.
- The construction creates unique products and
serial products.
- The construction industry is very traditional
with great momentum changes and little
technological innovation.
- The construction using labor-intensive low-
skilled employment of these people has a
casual and their chances of promotion are slim.
This affects low motivation at work and
decreased quality.
- It's a great engine of the economy of a region
or country, can typically hundreds of thousands
of unskilled jobs mostly.

- The construction specifications used
complex, often contradictory and often
confusing. The grades are poorly defined at the
origin.

In general, three types of constructions:
1. Construction of buildings or building works.
2. Construction
3. Industrial Buildings


4.-Materials used in construction
Construction materials are used in large
quantities, which must come from abundant
and cheap raw materials. Therefore, most
construction materials are made from high-
availability of materials such as sand, clay or
stone.







It is also desirable that the required
manufacturing processes consume little energy
and are not overly elaborate. This is why the
glass is considerably more expensive than
brick, stemming both from raw materials as
common as sand and clay, respectively. The
building materials are common feature is to be
lasting. Depending on use, they must also
satisfy other requirements such as hardness,
mechanical strength, fire resistance, or ease of
cleaning.
