Goal #1:

To broaden experience in conducting a Professional Development Presentation

(Nation/Statewide)

I hope to present and facilitate a Professional Development presentation or workshop.
Program Facilitation was one of my Areas that I articulated as an area of Growth as a
Professional. My hope is to facilitate a workshop at a National/Regional Conference to
gain more confidence in abilities as a Presenter.
Goal #2:
Engage in Training/Workshops around Academic/non-academic Program
Curriculum Development

Another goal in my near future in the Student Affairs profession is to seek more training
and workshop opportunities around Academic and/or non-academic Program Curriculum
development. My prior and present experience in Program Development has been geared
more towards creating partnerships and collaboration. However one of the goals that I
have is to assess the good practices that are happening nationwide in Student Affairs that
are specific to program development. I would like to learn more about good practices on
how to create sustainable programs that are easily adaptable to anymore who may
facilitate or coordinate them. Furthermore, I also hope to participate in trainings that are
specifically geared in presenting and implementing good evaluation and assessment tools
that are being used in the field.
Goal #3
To Serve as a Committee Member in a Professional Affiliation

I would hope to in the near future be able to serve as a committee member in a
Professional Affiliation in the realm of Student Affairs. I hope to broaden my experience
in involvement in Professional Development Affiliations statewide and/or at a
Community level.
