extensi ve gardens i ncl udi ng the renowned water gardens ri ng the base of the rock. You can see the
worl d-renowned frescoes of the ''Heavenl y Mai dens'' of Si gi ri ya, whi ch are i n a shel tered pocket of the
rock approached by a spi ral stai rway. These frescoes are pai nted usi ng earth pi gments on pl aster.
