DAY 3 JULY 5 | THURSDAY

Being Set to Glorify God

Christs nished work on the cross has given God glory by fullling its
very purpose, which is to redeem us from sin and restore us back into a
relationship with Him.
Just as Jesus victoriously fullled His mission, we too are set to do the
same. Like an arrow ready to hit the target, may we fully yield to the
work God is doing in us. May we not resist the stretching or complain
during long seasons of waiting, and may we not swerve from right
to leftjust staying still and focused on one direction, which is His
purpose for our lives.
God has done His end of the deal, setting us up to do greater things
through the victory won by Jesus on the cross. The question is, will we
allow Him to bring us to that promised victory?
12
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have
been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am
going to the Father.
13
And I will do whatever you ask in my name,
so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
14
You may ask me for
anything in my name, and I will do it.
JOHN 14:12-14
REFLECT
What does the Bible say about who you are?
What doubts or fears could be hindering you
from focusing on Gods purposes for your life?

In what areas have you been resisting Gods
work in your life? Why? How do you plan to
respond better?

RESPOND
Allow God to renew your
mind on who you are
and the way you see your
situation. Pray that God
will help you see yourself
and others through His
perspective and increase
your faith.
Yield to what God is doing
in your life. Ask Him for
grace to wait and trust
through the seasons and
empower you to hit the
mark He has set for you.

DAY 1 JULY 3 | TUESDAY
Remaining and Thriving
Our relationship with God is a journey, a cycle of different life seasons.
It is actually more of an adventure where there are battles to win,
challenges to overcome, and lessons and skills to learn.

In reality, these changes can often get the best of us. However, God
calls us to persevere, showing us in His Word how a follower of Christ
is victorious, blessed, and will go from glory to glory! How is this
possible? How can a follower of Jesus live this promise?

The Bible says that we need to stay in the presence of God. We need
to be connected to our unchanging God so we can thrive in life with all
its changes. We also need to remain at the center of His Will, keeping
in step with what He wants to do in and through us in every season.
Are you securely anchored in God and ready to live a victorious life?
4
Blessed are those who dwell in your house; they are ever praising you.
5
Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts
on pilgrimage.
6
As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it
a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7
They go
from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.
PSALM 84:4-7
DAY 2 JULY 4 | WEDNESDAY
Moving in Genuine Faith
The fulllment of a promise is solely dependent on its giver and
the same is true with Gods promises. God has initiated a covenant
relationship with us where He shows us His higher ways and greater
purposes for our lives.

As recipients, what is our role? To receive Gods promises, we only need
to do one thing and that is to have faith in God. Yet oftentimes, we nd
it diffcult to trust God because we do not know Him. We will only have
genuine faith in God when we are fully convinced of who He isthat
He is faithful, good, powerful, and able, and that He loves us so much
that He already made a way for us to receive His promises through
Jesus nished work on the cross.

When we know well who the Giver of our promise is, we can be
condent that He will fulll every word and doubt will have no place
in our hearts and minds. Now, we can simply believe, ask, and receive.
21
Jesus replied, I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt,
not only can you do what was done to the g tree, but also you can say
to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and it will be done.
22
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.
MATTHeW 21:21,22
REFLECT
How has God been faithful to you during the
frst half of the year? What are you believing
God to do in the next months?

Hebrews 10:37-39 assures us that God is
working on our behalf and encourages us
to stand in faith. In what areas of life do you
need to persevere in faith more?

RESPOND
List down all the things
you believe God for and
ask Him to help your heart
pursue His will and wait for
His best for these.
Pray for God to help you
stay at the center of His
will always and for your
relationship with Him to be
strengthened all the more.
REFLECT
When you think of God, what part of His
character stands out the most? What attributes
of God do you think you need to know more?

Read Hebrews 11 and ponder on how each
person mentioned in the chapter has related
with God. How are you getting to know God
more in your own faith walk?

RESPOND
Consider Gods promise
in Jeremiah 29:13 and
prayerfully commit to
a convenient schedule
for regular Bible reading
and prayer.
Read James 2:26. Is there
a direction or a call from
God that you have not
acted upon yet? Ask God
for the grace and will to
obey and be expectant
to know Him more as you
take that rst step.
