When we share something, we open a door for assessment
Dynamic assessment:
o make a conversation
o see where they come from
o how much they know
o how much they want to know
When they are ready
Students are apprentices to become teachers ; if we allow them to learn
from us they can then teach others
success is not an individual pursuit
Learning is fluid
Dialogue Journals Great way to have this conversation with students and
learn from them
Make sure students know how to use the tools (wall charts, dictionaries,
etc.)
Dynamic assessment is not solving problems of the classroom - it is
showing what problems there are so that we can move forward from there
