SIMUFACT
Simufact.forming is the standard-software environment or simulating forming
processes.
It allows drawing, bending, embossing, rolling, and punching processes to be
modeled, analyzed and visualized.
High performance Solver Technology based on the leading CAE solutions Marc
and Dytran issued by MSC.Software.
Material formulation used elastic plastic material behavior and fully coupled
thermal-mechanical analysis is possible.
Supported formats are Pro/Engineer, Catia V4 and V5, CADDS5,
Siemens/Unigraphics, Inventor and Solid-Works. Furthermore, standardized
import-formats such as STEP, Acis, Parasolid, VDA and DXF/DWG

FORGING
Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using localized
compressive forces.
Forging produces high strength then the other forming process
Excess metal is squeezed out of the die cavities, forming what is referred to as
flash.
This flash is removed by the finishing operation.
In order to avoid under filling of the material in the cavities more force is applied.
Due to that more flash is ejected.
