Preparation of Estimate of Vacancies and Panel

Part-1

For each category of post /cadre Estimate of
Vacancies for a period of one year from the date of
expiry of current estimate has to be prepared well in
advance taking into account of :
(1)Vacancies due to retirement ;
(2)Vacancies due to creation of new posts and
promotions; and
(3)Vacancy provision for unexpected contingencies;
etc ,.

After getting approval of the estimate of vacancies
for one year , necessary panel proposals has to be
prepared and got approved by the competent
authority in order to fill up the above vacancies.

While preparing panel proposals the following have
to be considered;
Name of post /cadre & elegibility for the post as per
rules
Estimate of vacancies
Date of expiry of present panel
Whether persons included in the present panel were
fully exhausted
Persons available in the approved seniority List
