Creating a WWII Magazine

As part of your unit assessment for WWII, you will be creating a mini-
magazine that you might have seen in the United States during or right after
the war.

Steps to Creating Your Magazine

1. Before you start, think about:
o What program am I going to make this in? _______________________________

o What sites am I going to use?

o Have I looked at AND read through the examples? _(check here)______

2. Think about what year you want to write this in. Remember, you must
stay consistent while writing your articles. For example, if your magazine
was published in 1944, you cant write about the Battle of Iwo Jima that
took place in 1945.
o I will be writing my magazine to be published in _________________________

3. Do your research. Re-word your research into your own words.
Article 1 Topic: Article 2 Topic: Propaganda/Adds

4. Write your articles in Word.
5. Find pictures and create a cover.
6. Put the magazine together in the program you choose.
7. Re-Read and fill out rubric to make sure you did everything you needed
to do.
8. Turn in Friday, OCTOBER 25
