Fundamentacin
The course aims to help students to develop their English vocabulary further, helping
them to become acquainted with more advanced vocabulary than in Lengua
Especializada I. The categorisation of vocabulary aids learning, and the ability to link
words to particular themes will be useful to students in their careers as translators.

English vocabulary and will be able to apply the material they have studied to their
preferred fields of translation. These may include legal, business and technical English.

4tudents should come to class with a working knowledge of the new vocabulary in the
unit to be covered. The teacher will provide clarification of the meanings of new words.
5ost of the material covered will be in the set te&tbook, but students are encouraged to
seek articles, stories, and other sources that might help them enrich their knowledge of
English.

4tudents must pass a parcial and a final e&am. ( mark of ) 6four7 or above constitutes a
pass. The e&ams will test students8 knowledge of new vocabulary and their ability to
apply it. The e&aminable material in the final e&am for regular students is units ".+2 of
the book English Vocabulary in Use Advanced. Libre students will potentially be
e&amined on the entire book of "22 units and will have to take an oral e&am.
