To Whom It May Concern,
It gives me great pleasure to write to you to recommend Lauren Travis for a new graduate nurse position with your company. I am a clinical nurse who has worked on the inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant and Oncology Unit at The University of Colorado Hospital for five years. I have become acquainted with Lauren through her work as an Associate Care Partner on our unit for several months. During that time, I have worked together with Lauren and can vouch for her character and abilities.
Lauren is a pleasure to work with due to her friendly nature, her outgoing personality, her great sense of humor, and her hard working, can-do attitude. Our unit is an extremely busy and challenging one, but Lauren has proved herself equal to the task. She is very motivated to get her duties completed in a timely fashion and never says no. If shes unable to attend to a job immediately, she is good at delegating and collaborating to make certain that it is taken care of promptly.
Lauren is diligent in completing her required work, making certain that the little things are never overlooked. She also volunteered her services in performing tasks above and beyond the essentials. She would check in with her nurses and make sure they knew she was available for extra duties, such as changing central line dressings.
Lauren is also very interested in learning new things. She frequently expresses interest in the tasks that are being performed by the nurses on our unit, and asks very intelligent questions in an attempt to expand her knowledge. Shes a real go-getter.
In conclusion, I have no hesitation recommending Lauren for a new graduate nurse position. Im very excited to see what she does in the future when she gets her own license.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like any further information.
