Subject: Announcement of new charge nurses

Hello all,

I am extremely excited to announce that we have three new
permanent charge nurses. The originally intent was not to hire three,
but all three candidates were absolutely exceptional!!! Congrats to

our three new permanent charge nurses Ian Neff, Pam

Heinke, and Mary Hendrickson

Ian Neff, RN,BSN, OCN
Ian came to University as part of the new graduate residency
program in 2011. He has acted in the relief charge nurse role,
precepted, and as part of his Level III credentialing project this year
completed a tremendous amount of work collaborating with the
Emergency Department to create a level of care document for
appropriate placement of patients.

Mary Hendrickson, RN, BSN

Mary also came to us as part of the new graduate residency program
in 2012, she holds a previous degree in Social Science. She has also
served in the relief charge nurse role, preceptor role and been an
instrumental part of the Skin Champions Committee.

Pam Heinke, RN, BSN, OCN
Pam was also a graduate of the new grad residency program
in 2011. She has acted as a relief charge nurse, preceptor and as part
of her credentialing process to Level III has created a unit level
CNA/ACP council. She also holds a previous degree in Biology.

For those of you that are newer on staff, this group is essential
and an extension of Jamie, Mandy and myself and assist with the
Annual performance evaluation process, they are joining our
very talented group of current permanent charges : Amiee La
Touche, Beth Tupta, Johanna Crock, Shauna Parrish, Liz Klatt,
Nicole Martinez.
