Determination

Competitors Creed:
I give my all - all of the time.

a competitor by conviction
and a disciple of determination.

Did you know?
**Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team? He went on to be the
arguably the greatest basketball player of all time!
**Thomas Edison was told by a classroom teacher that he was too stupid to learn? He
went on to hold over 1000 patents for inventions including the light bulb and
phonograph.
**The Beatles were turned down by multiple recording studios because they didnt like
their sound and said guitar groups were on their way out? They became the number
one recording act of all time.
**A newspaper fired Walt Disney because he lacked imagination and had no original
ideas? Won 7 Emmys, 22 Oscars, 48 Academy Awards and produced over 600 films.
**Abraham Lincolns fiance died, he failed in business, had a nervous breakdown and
was defeated in 8 elections? He became the 16
th
President of the United States and
began the end of slavery with the writing of the Emancipation Proclamation.

What do all of these stories have in common?
DETERMINATION and PERSERVERANCE

Resolve today to approach everything in life with the same determination as Michael
Jordan and other successful people who didnt succeed every time, but experienced
success because they persevered!
