Hood Tech has introduced an upgrade kit for its Mark 4 launcher, increasing the
load it can launch, to higher speeds, with gentler acceleration. The upgrade kit
underwent extensive testing prior to recent use: (http://blog.executivebiz.com/

variant/) Retrofitted to an existing Mark 4 launcher, the upgrade kit maintains
the launchers small footprint. The improved launch capability enables expansion of
the payload capacity of the RQ-21A aircraft, without increasing launch loads.
Beginning in 1999 Hood Tech innovations in UAV launch and retrieval systems, hav
