Math Facts

Parent/Guardians,

To ensure the success of your students in their math facts, they will be
working on facts everyday at home. Every student will bring home a packet of math
facts containing four math fact sheets to be completed throughout the week. The
students are to practice their math facts every night by completing one sheet a night.
The packet is to be completed and turned in their daily folder every Friday with the
parent paper signed. Every Friday, students will be tested over their facts with a
timed test. If the student misses five or less they will advance to the next math fact
packet. If the student does not pass, they will continue working on the current facts.
Everyone is going to start with addition and progress into subtraction, then start
multiplication facts starting at ones all the way up to tens and then ending with
division.

Below is what will be posted in the classroom beside a chart keeping track of
student math fact mastery. If you have any questions or concerns please let me
know.

Thanks,

Mrs. Ullery
