provides knowledge acquisition, team
building exercises, developing
communication skills, trust, leadership,
decision making, & conflict resolution
Comparing and contrasting, classifying
items, creating metaphors, creating
analogies. Identifying what makes
traits that same and different. Venn
Diagrams are excellent tools used to
show those representations.
Homework and Practice are used
interchangeably. They are used to
enhance knowledge base. They extend
learning beyond the school confines
or day. They are used to practice and
prepare for existing and new materials.
The right amount, minimal parental
involvement and feedback is required
to enhance students productivity.
Advanced Organizers , including graphic
ones, assist students in learning new
concepts and vocabulary. Graphs provide a
symbolic representation to reinforce
learning. It gives visual learners a chance to
see and apply those concepts.
This is an effective strategy used to gage
student attention and learning. Educators
use the K-W-L chart. K prior knowledge,
W what students want to learn/know and
L what theyve learned from material
presented..
This can occur in several ways by
using concept maps, dramatizations
and graphic organizers etc. These actively
engage students in representing and
organizing their thoughts into graphic
