Flyer Remediation Revision Memo
I found this particular revision to be the easiest one that we did all semester. The reason
that I believe that is simple- I thought that our flyer was great the way that it was and only
needed a few small changes. In addition to this, the comments that we had received on this flyer
from Mrs. Keaton seemed to suggest the same thing. Before revision my flyer, I first took the
time to look at the flyer with the comments written on it by Mrs. Keaton. She suggested that we
changed one of the pictures on our flyer and to re-word two portions of it. I honestly believe that
these were the only two changes that were necessary for this flyer and because of that, I did not
change much else. I did change the photograph to a more writing-based one, and re-worded two
of the text boxes. I deleted the portion that said Step One because there was no Step Two to
follow that. After this, the only other change that I made was coloring. I decided to make the
colors on the flyer garnet and gold to go along with the colors of Florida State University. After
making these changes, I felt as if it was as good as it was going to get. I believe that the final
draft is better than the first because it is more fitting for Florida State with the new color choices,
and the pictures on it are more relevant now to the topic of the flyer (that topic being Drafting
and Revising). I also deleted the portion that said Step One because there was no Step Two
to follow that.
