Reflection Letter
This has been an interesting six weeks with my Professor Mrs. Raymond. Some
days were not as hard as other but then again some days was incredible tough. I can say that it all
paid off, because she was getting us prepared and ready for our upcoming classes in the fall. I
had a chance to make a portfolio that demonstrates my growth and process as a writer, a student,
researcher and a critical thinker.
Over these last six weeks, I have learned a lot about writing and reading. For instance, in
this class I learned how to make different kinds of connections that to relate to my life when
reading. This gave me a better understanding on the books we read in class. Next, when Im
writing a paper, I learned how to think out of the box. For example, when I wrote on
Technology Distractions I was very creative when writing, and getting my peers to revise my
paper to find errors I may have not have seen. Now, I know what it takes to make a perfect
paper. Furthermore, I now have more confidence when writing papers. My vocabulary is now
stronger and better, making my sentence structure better than before. Sentence structure use to be
one of my biggest weakness. This was because I use to put unnecessary words in my sentence
causing it to become improper, which I did in many writing prompts. For instance, my writing
prompt on Parking Tickets, is a good example.

To conclude, Mrs. Raymond class prepared me very well for the fall. Throughout, mini
semester, I can say my best work was when I had to talk about a Life Changing Event. This
topic was an interesting topic that I enjoyed out of all the topics. It was my most favorite,
because it made me use my brain, and think deep. I was also able to include many details while
doing this assignment. Furthermore, I enjoyed this class and it was a wonderful six weeks as I
became a better writer through writing many papers, making many revisions on papers, and
lastly getting help on the way with valuable tips from the mentors.
