LTFRB Route Rationalization until August 15, 2014 only

Memorandum Circular No. 2014-010 was issued by Land Transportation


Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) last July 09, 2014 to give the
Public Utility Vehicles (PUB) Operators the opportunity to adjust the
routes covered by their Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) or most
commonly known as franchise.

To avail of the benefits of the said MC No. 2014-010, the concerned
operator must file a Petition for Modification of Route before the LTFRB
Regional Offices if the route concerned is within a specific region (Intra-
regional route) or before the LTFRB Central Office in East Avenue,
Quezon City if the route involved two or more regions (Inter-regional
route).

The deadline for the filing of the Petition is on August 15, 2014 and in
addition to the standard filing fee, a Modification Fee of P10,000.00 per
unit for Intra-regional Route and P20,000.00 per unit for Inter-regional
Route shall be imposed.
