Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering is the combination of biology and engineering, to create
concepts in the healthcare industry. Biomedical engineers create products such as
insulin, synthetic organs, metal limbs, and many other medical treatments. They also
tend to create surgical tools that can make surgeries across the country much safer
and easier to preform. Without these technologies our life spans would be much
shorter.
Biomedical engineering can be a combination of mechanical, electrical, and
chemical engineering. Engineers in the medical field have the ability to use chemistry
to create a medicine or vaccination that will change our societys health. They also use
electricity to create new products that can stabilize the safety of the patient.
Biomedical Engineering
Biomedical Engineering has many branches to it. This includes genetic engineering,
tissue engineering, medical devices, pharmaceutical engineering, and new types are
being created rapidly. This field allows you to grow as the need increases.
