Intern Journal #12

This week at my internship I was given the task to pre screen an applicant for possible employment. The
supervisor supplied me with a list of questions to ask and I could add any other question I seen fit to get
the feel for the person. I have to admit I was a little nervous to be the person screening usually I am on
the other side of the phone. But I must say it went well i was able to get the informaion the supervisor
needed to proceed with bringing the applicant in for an interview. I will also be present at the interview.
This was an great experience for me and I believe will be very valuable as I move into the adminstration
profession of human service. I am excited to be a part of the interview process as well. I will take notes
and use this as a learning experience for my future.
